Faculty Fellows Program

Summer 2019 Faculty Fellows Program

Faculty Fellow, Dr. Abbas Tarhini, giving a presentation on Panopto as a platform for teaching during lockdown

The program started with a structured 4-week program in which a faculty member designed a new course, redesigned an existing course, explored new active learning strategies, applied the latest disciplinary research into teaching, or explored the use of technology in the teaching process. Upon the successful completion of the program, the faculty member became a CIL Faculty Fellow and was invited to leadership and service opportunities within the CIL. The role of the CIL Faculty Fellow is to contribute to the community of practice that promotes effective pedagogy among peer faculty. Fellows may lead workshops, seminars, or possibly program consultations.
